My name is Floyd and I'm an avid photographer currently living in California.

After three decades working at the center of the creative industry—as an art buyer, creative department director, and project manager in international advertising—I felt a growing need to reconnect with making work purely for myself. Away from decks, timelines, and feedback loops, photography became a space to slow down, observe, and respond to the world more intuitively.

What began as a personal outlet has evolved into a deeper practice rooted in travel, curiosity, and culture. I’m drawn to quiet moments, overlooked details, and the visual rhythm found in everyday environments. Time spent crate digging for vinyl, listening to records, and cool hunting continually shapes how I see—training my eye to notice texture, mood, and story in unexpected places. This work reflects that ongoing exploration: a way of looking, pausing, and finding meaning beyond the surface.
